We’ve Updated Our Privacy Policy!

We’ve updated our Privacy Policy to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) that goes into effect on Friday, May 25th, 2018.

This regulation was created by the European Union. The purpose? GDPR “aims primarily to give control to citizens and residents over their personal data and to simplify the regulatory environment for international business by unifying the regulation within the EU.” [Wikipedia]

No doubt, we’re all soooo over the flurry of emails from every company on the planet at this point, but the GDPR is a good thing! No, really! Because companies should be transparent about what data they collect and why they collect it. You should have control over what happens with your data, too.

The Virtual Gurus has always based our success on customer trust. Our policies are available on our website and any questions about privacy or data can be addressed to admin@thevirtualgurus.com.

To adhere to the GDPR regulation, we’ve updated our privacy policy, added an informational page about cookies, and contacted users with the option to unsubscribe from our emails and other communication.

Here’s our updated Privacy Policy. This policy provides information about what data we collect and what we do with that data. It also includes information about how to get access to, request deletion of, or modify your data. By continuing to use the service, you accept the terms of the new Privacy Policy, so please read it.

Here’s a new cookie statement that describes how we use cookies on our various sites.

Finally, if you’re a business customer and you need a copy of our Data Processing Addendum, please reach out to our support team at admin@thevirtualgurus.com.
